Well, had a great weekend! Enjoyed going downtown and meeting new people that I will hopefully start hanging out with. Woke up on the earlier side today, maybe hoping to skype some friends and family. Talked to Korn for a brief second. Adam I am sorry my computer was acting up and when I finally got it working you had left. Lets do it again soon. Next, received some an email from Melissa telling me that she was dating someone else. Not a great way to start off the morning, but it is life and still want to remain friends with her and have nothing against her whatsoever. Just feeling upset, but like great ones say, it is better to feel something than nothing at. Anyway, I was unable to connect with anyone else so I left for school to get ahead in my planning. Got a lot of work done and it helped get my mind off of things. Classes went well, nothing out of the ordinary. Had 2 classes then a break. Then 5 and then a break. And then one more. I am really focusing on their pronunciations and think it is getting better. Also, I feel that I am controlling the classroom better and am on task most of the time.
The only problem I have with their teaching method is that they try to cover so much in a 40 minute time period and dont feel that the children comprehend or retain any of the material. Some teachers go through 6 different bullets a class, which is less than 10 minutes on each thing. I tend to spend more time on each subject and really try to have the students understand the material. Hopefully, no one will get mad at me for spending time on the material. After classes were over, Max, Evan, and I went to a new Korean BBQ that BBQ some spicy eel. It was delicious, and cant get enough of that BBQ. Once dinner was over headed back to the apartment, but Max and Ev were still hungry so they stopped at a Korean food stood stand. Max got this awesome looking panckake looking thing. He said it was amazing. So I headed up to the Korean lady and tried to ask and say that I was allergic to dairy and if it had any it it. I had my little dictionary out and all the Koreans were trying to help me out. It seemed like they were saying there was no dairy, so as I was about to by one the lady brings out a huge stick of butter and covers the pan with it. I chuckled, bowed and left. Then we went back to the apartment and hung out, went to bed. Goodnight and talk to you tomorrow

Nov 28 and 29
So like I said in my last blog went to school for that open house and then came home and took a nap. Woke up from the nap around 5 and just hung around the apartment for awhile until my stomach started grumbling for food. Went for a quick bite to eat which included some meat, rice, onions, glass noodles, and a little cup of soup all for the price of 4 dollars. After dinner picked up a 54 oz and went back to the apartment and started to pregame a little. Around 11:30 Max and I headed downtown to the icebar. Just wanted to take it easy because Friday night was pretty rough. However, got to Icebar saw some people we knew made friends with manager and 1,2,3.... drinks later just having a grand ole time. Stayed their for awhile and checked out around 1:30. Coming out of the bar we saw an unusual amount of army guys downtown. We always seem them, but last night there were a lot of them just partying it up. There are 2 bases in Daegu somewhere, not sure where, but sort of want to check it out. Anyways, these 2 army dudes started talking to us and asking where a bar was, we told them two different things and they didnt believe either one of us. Don't blame them for the condition we were in. They said f---k it and continued walking and so did we. As we were walking Max saw the pizza in a cup lady and ran to get some, where I saw these juicy tangerines for 3 dollars and bought them. You get like 10-12 of them and they are soo good. Took a cab back to our place and went to sleep.
Sunday Morning, woke up to my alarm that was left on from the other day and realized that I forgot to turn my lights off. Never done that before, that bottle of Soju really did me in. Got up and made some bacon and eggs with Max and knew this was going to be a wasted day. Luckily, it was raining out so really couldnt do much. However, I needed to get out of the house so while Max went to a coffee shop to read I put on my jacket and just wondered around our neighborhood. Found a street that is known for its restaurants. On this 1-2 mile stretch there are over 200 hundred restaurants, ranging from Korean, Japanese, American food, etc. It was awesome and can't wait to try some of these places, hopefully, not all of them are expensive. After my walk came back to the apartment and laid down and just chilled. Sunday is the day of rest and that is exactly what I did. Nothing else really exciting going on. Max and I are starting to plan for our 4 day vacation to Japan over New Years. I will keep you updated on that.

Friday!! Nov 27 a little bit of the 28
Its Friday, and very excited for the weekend. Woke up and went to school around 12 to start planning for my Monday classes. I finally get to plan my own classes and am pretty excited about it. Took a little bit of time, but I think once I get the hang of it, it will just be like tying my shoe laces. And yes I am very good at tying them. After planning, started my classes at 12:50 where I have two then a break. I would say fridays are my toughest days because I have 8 classes and end at 8:15. Once my break ended I started the 5 classes back to back. Very tiring. Some classes went great and others very hard to control the students to the point where I had to move a student into the middle of the room or have the student sit in a baby chair (just a really small chair) and look at a dot on the white board. Cruel, but necessary for some of these children who do not care about the reward system. Anyways, after the 5 classes had another break where I continued planning and finished my telephone teaching. Once that break ended, had my final class and, I love this class. So mellow and mature that it is easy and a great way to end the night to start the weekend. Class over and its time to start another couple days off!!
Left school with Max and Evan and of course had to go to some Korean BBQ, the only way to start off a Friday night. We try a new one every time (there are so many of them). This one was on the higher end scale (about 10 a person). We ordered two different types of meat; spicy and sweet which tasted similar to terrayki and a bottle of soju (similar to a vodka like drink). The meal was delicious. *quick note: Soju- is a very popular drink in South Korea for dinner. Almost every restaurant you pass it is rare not to find at least two bottles of Soju at every table. These people love it and enjoy drinking. Once the meal was finished and are belly's full we headed back to our apartment and picked up some beer. Drank their for a little while then headed downtown. Went to this bar Commune, which was alright, the only reason we went there was because one of our buddies bands was playing. Got pretty toasty and forgot that we had to wake up early to go to school for this orientation. Ooopps. Came back to the apartment around 2:30 and went to bed
After a short and unrestful sleep woke up at 9 and felt alright. Still feeling like I was last night , took a shower to try to feel up and adam, but didnt really help. Cabbed it to school with Max and tried to enjoy these new little children who were looking at our school. These children knew no English and were amazed by our presence. However, I couldn't wait for 12 to come and take a nap. 12 came and I made it! Grabbed a quick bite to eat and headed back to the apartment and crashed. Now writing this blog and I am done writing for now.

Nov 26, Happy Thanksgiving
Is it Thanksgiving? I would not have even thought about it if it weren't for my family reminding me. Hope everyone enjoys their turkeys (fried or baked), stuffing, and other sides that you might have. For us, Max and I made stir fry in our tiny little kitchen. What a great Thanksgiving.
Lets go back to the beginning of the day shall we. Woke up around 10:30, still feeling a little under the weather, took a shower and ate a PB&J sandwich. Then headed on my nice little 30 minute stroll with Maximus. It was actually a really nice day out today, I would say in the upper 50's. Got to school, reviewed my material for a little then started teaching at 12:50. Oh those little kindergartners, they can be a real handful. Still trying to figure out how to control them. Its either they are really well behaved or they are just bouncing off the wall, you never know what you are going to get and I think I could say that for most of my classes. Taught 2 classes back to back then break. In my second class we had a little P.E. time which consisted of us going into the larger of the small classrooms and try to have the kids unwind a bit without anyone getting hurt. I brought a great game from the states called 4 corners. Not a board game, just a game that deals with the 4 corners of the room. It was fun and the kids really seemed to enjoy it. Like I said, after that class I have a break where I go get a quick bite to eat. Then have four classes back to back. The hardest class to control and unanimously voted by all Korean teachers is my A3 class. Woooo, they give me a headache. Half of them dont pay attention. A few kids are smart while the others are far behind. Tough to control and teach material that everyone will pay attention to.
After those 4 classes I was done for the day so I stuck around and did some telephone teaching, which is where I call students from a class and ask them a series of questions and grade them on their responses. Pretty cool to do. Also, did some planning and talked to other Korean teachers about classes that we shared. They give us tips and how they want the class to progress. Stayed there for about 2 hours headed home with Max and made stir fry for Thanksgiving.
That is all folks. Enjoy the break.

Nov 25
Another day of teaching. Seems like I have been doing it for a while, but in reality have only been teaching for 4 full days. I am stating to see a pattern, but then again still have no clue what I am doing and am still going off what the previous teacher left behind for me. Starting Monday I will be planning my on lessons and am excited for that. I think I am going to start tomorrow because it may take awhile and I don't want to procrastinate on Monday morning nor do I really want to stay late friday, even though that may happen.
So today seemed harder than the last few days controlling the students. It seemed as though there was just 1 student each class that disrupted ruined for the rest. You have the jokester, complainer, and loud mouth. It is hard to control these children especially when they do not care about the reward points. I believe 3 out of my 7 classes today I had to hold a student back and talk to them in private about their behavior. It is interesting how different their behavior is when they are all alone and none of their friends are around them to support them. They are dead silent and can't even look me in the face they are so scared. Hopefully, I got through to at least one of them and friday will be a better day, but who knows.
In addition, 2 new teachers from Boston came today and were at our school even though they will be teaching at a different location. Pretty cool guys, with a stong Boston accent. Other than that the day was pretty ordinary. I made some chicken breast for dinner tonight and decided to stay in due to feeling a little under the weather. Max taught me how to my gin rummy 500 and he beat me, but I held my own for awhile. Now, in bed about to fall asleep.
Goodnight and Happy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy the Turdunken

Nov 24,
First, some people have been asking about pictures and my answer to that is I don't know how to post them on this blog. Also, I am already posting them on facebook, so you can either sign up for facebook and friend me or have someone that has facebook share with you.
Enough about that, so a my second Tuesday here in Korea. Pretty crazy to think about, but am glad that I have finally spoken to all my family members on skype! Miss everyone a bunch! So I woke up around 10, ate breakfast which was just a PB&J sandwich then like I said skyped my mom/sis and bro. After skyping headed to school with Max for a ENT (English Native Teacher) meeting. We have one every Tuesday at 12 and they last for about 20 minutes and are pretty pointless. They just review what went on last week and what is coming up this week. The only important /sucky news I found out was that we have to be at school Saturday for open house which is for prospective students. Bummer, right! Continuing on with the day, had my Y3 and Y1 classes first (kindergarten age). These children although cute (that one is for you Josh) are very exhausting. They have no attention span and as soon as you turn to write on the board or check something they are off the wall. SO the voice is going as well as the throat is throbbing. After these 2 classes I have break and went to eat some korean food. Break time over, 4 straight classes back to back. In my opinion, I feel like I am doing a better job, but really still don't have a clue if I am teaching them correctly. I literally just drill pronunciation and sentence structure over and over. Might sound boring to some, but actually very interesting and entertaining. Those 4 classes end, break, then one more class. The day is finally over and Max, Evan (new friend/english teacher), and I go out for some Korean BBQ. Delicious!!!.
Side note- Starting to understand the reason Ding Ding Dang has such a bad reputation for foreign teachers. Not much free time for us during the week, except at night. You spend more time planning than actually teaching. Don't know if that is how it is for actual teachers. Would love the input. Melissa? Jill? Cheryl? Mom?

Nov 23rd
Today, we finally received internet in our apartment. If you hadn't noticed, our apartment did not have internet over the weekend so we thought. Max got to school and the secretaries told him that we did have internet and the username and password, which is what we needed, was on a business card in the apartment. We tried it out and it worked. Success!!! After setting up the internet, I headed down to school. Since Max was already at school, it was a lonely walk. I did not realize how long the walk actually was until I did it by myself. It took a good 30 minutes at a pretty decent New York pace. Once at school, started to review my material for the day. Then started class at 12:50. Preschool is first, age 4-5. 40 minutes go by, then another preschool class. After that 40 minutes I have a 40 minute break where i do more reviewing for the next set classes. Break time over, I have 5 classes back to back. Then one more break and then my last class. End at 815, then had a nice long walk back to the apartment. Max and I made dinner, which consisted of an omelet, rice, and gumondu (similar to dumplings). A very exhausting day indeed.

Nov 22 relaxation
The sun shining through my window, there was no way I could sleep a minute later. Thinking about last night I could only chuckle, because it was so much fun. Its Sunday the day of rest and that is exactly what I did, as well as Max. We made eggs and bacon for lunch and just enjoyed being in our apartment. After that we did laundry for the first time. Pretty easy a couple buttons to push and walla. Only problem is, is that there is no dryer and we have use our drying rack. Not detrimental, but just annoying because it takes a lot longer for our clothes to dry and the rack takes up a lot of space. Next, we went out and just walked around and did some errands. Once we came back, I sat down with a grammar book and went over terms I was unsure about so I can be more confident in teaching the material. Learned a lot and feel like these children will benefit from it. After that, we went to to dinner came back and chilled. Went to bed. School in the afternoon.

Nov 21 the new apt.
Woke up and realized that I was in my new home/apartment in South Korea. So excited, and pleased that the love motel is no more. Even though we did not have internet our first weekend in the apartment at least we have our own place. When Max and I woke up we decided to go to the grocery store to get some American staples and other needs for the apartment. Just to note, although the tenants before us did a semi-cleaning job it is still pretty dirty and really dusty. Anyone have any ideas for an effective way of dusting without a duster? Moving on, we walked to the grocery store which is only a 5 minute walk and bought our grocery’s. Very overwhelming and fun at the same time. We went down each aisle and asked ourselves do we need this or that. And if one of us say yes and the other said no, we did rock, paper, scissors, which is huge in Korea. Everyone from 4 year olds up to adults play this game to make decisions. It is really funny to see how excited my students get when I tell them they can play that game. However, back to the grocery store, it was a little expensive, but well needed. We had so much stuff that we tried to take the cart back with us and then return it after, but of course a guard came running after us and made us carry all of our grocery’s to our apartment. That five minute walk took 15 minutes, but we made it. We unloaded our groceries and then Max made some eggs. After our delicious American breakfast, we proceeded to clean and unpack trying to make our apartment livable and threw any unnecessary crap that other people had left here. I think we succeeded. Looking at our new home we decided that we had been in it all day and went on a little field trip the Youbang tower (spelling incorrect). It is 153 meters tall and overlooks the whole city. We tried to make it for sunset, but ended missing most because we didn’t realize how far away it was. However, we made it there took the elevator to the top and wow the views were breathtaking. We did not realize how big Daegu actually was. It is huge!!! With the mountains surrounding it and tall buildings the views are indescribable. We stayed there for about an hour and then headed back home and got ready for the night. First we went to our favorite Korean BBQ restaurant that is very close to our apartment. Then we headed to downtown where we met up with our new Korean friends that we met on Thursday. They took us to a place called MK club, which is 99% Koreans. Just what Max and I had been looking for. Let me tell you this place was a scene. American hip hop, with a bunch of Koreans dancing to the beat because none of them knew the words. It was a blast. Drinks were pretty expensive, the wallet a lot lighter, however no regrets because it was an awesome night. At 2 AM a Korean rap group performed and the Koreans went wild! One thing we noticed, is that before 1 guys only danced around each other and girls the same. After that they started to dance with each other. Koreans know how to party and they do it for a long time. Max and I came back around 3:30 and passed out. What a great day in Korea!
Last hour of love motel Nov 20
I woke up today from banging, yelling, and drilling. I thought I was dreaming, but it was not the case. About 20 mintues later Max came knocking on my door. He was getting ready to go to class and I asked him what the hell was going on outside my room. He replied, they are redoing the floors. I chuckled and said ok. However, he did bring good news and said that this was the last day of being in the love motel and when I head down to school that I should bring my stuff with me. This was very exciting because although I hated the love motel and its disgusting nature a part of me was beginning to call it home. Moving on, I somehow got all my stuff and me down to school without knowing the address to the school for the cabby. All I said was to go straight which is (chee-chin) in Korean until we arrived. SO like I said yesterday , today was my first day of teaching on my own. Very nerve racking and chaotic. I still hadn’t recived my master schedule, and a time that I thought I was on break I actually had class. OOOPpps. Classes went well, some better than others. I really need to work on the English language so I can be a more effective teacher. My goal for the year is to try to have all my students be able to pronounce all V words. Koreans talk from the middle of the mouth and it is impossible for them to make the V sound and they always use the B sound. So instead of very it is berry. Its funny and cute but I want them to be able to say very with out a problem. I realized how hard teaching is when you have to go back-back 5 straight times. 5 hours teaching in a row is tough and having 8 classes in a day is tiring and needed a drink after work. After we were done teaching, we dropped our bags in out place and walked around our apartment to see what was around us. We have many restaurants to choose from. However, tonight we had another goodbye party for the teachers we were replacing (sounds like me and my goodbye parties). It was fun, went to this restaurant that served different style pancakes (Dad, like the one we had at your clients house) . One had kimchi in it, the other pumpkin. After that we headed downtown for drinks and billy bol which is a mix between bowling and billiards. Very interesting game. I started to get tired so we called it a night and headed back to our love motel… not I mean our apartment! Hell yeah excited to unpack tomorrow. Goodnight.

Last day of observation 11/19
What another pleasant day of waking up in the love motel. If I have not said this before, I think Max and I are the longest staying tenants of this place. No joke! So today was a big day for us. Max and I had to make a hospital visit to get blood work done, etc. This was an experience by itself. We arrived at the hospital that to me looked run down and would never attend in the states. But when we went inside it was pretty decent and my heart beat slowed down a little. One of our Korean teachers accompanied us so that we knew what we were doing and could translate some of the documents and commands the nurses were saying. The first step was to fill out all these forms, you know the common questionnaires that you usually fill out when you go for an initial appointment. However, these questions were LOL funny because they were translated and just did not make any sense. For example, one question was; "You are out of blood and feel depressed?" Max and I just started cracking up. They just did not make any sense. After that, they took us upstairs to the next station where we got weighed, measured, blood pressure, eyes checked (Max is colored blind), and ears check. Next, we went to down the hall where we had our chests x-rayed. I assume it was for tuberculosis. At this point we started to freak out and thought that this was the most intense check-up ever. Lastly, we went down the last hall where we had a urine and blood test. Thankfully, that was the lasts of the tests and we were finished. Wooo, done, hopefully everything works out and we pass.
So today, again I taught 3 classes. The teacher who has been helping me pretty much cried in every class because she was so upset, not because of the job i was doing but because she was leaving those little children. Guaranteed in 3 weeks she will forget about them. Everything went well and am excited for tomorrow to be my own teacher and run the class. It is time to get strict, they have been slacking this past week.
On a side note I met David WI finally who is the owner of the company and hired Max and I. Straight business man. That is all.
So we had a little going away party for the 2 teachers, yada yada yada.
Went to another Korean BBQ place, for I have fallen in love with them and could eat it every evening for dinner, as of now.
Went back to ice bar for a goodbye get together. Met some other teachers who were also leaving soon. Also, met some cool Koreans and hopefully will get to hang out with them and go to true Korean bars/Clubs.
Hope all is well back in the states!

I am sure most of you reading this blog are saying to yourselves why the hell is jeremy teaching english. He doesnt know the first thing about it. And to be frank, in America I would not last a second being an english teacher. First, I want to give props to teachers, for doing their job well. It is a hard job, and needs much preparation and should be so easily attained just because we graduated college. This is the real deal and I had no idea what i was really getting myself into. Planning, coordinating with other teachers, actually teaching, checking HW, etc. I am not qualified for that. So like I said in my last blog was that today was my first teaching day and for all of you the teacher I have been observing could really care less about anything and helping me out. Max's teacher goes above and beyond to help him out and he can attest to that. Luckily, he has been taking notes and obtained copies for me. Anyways, my first class was crap. I had less than five mintues to look over what I was supposed to do. And for those of you who have taught actual class, if you don't know what is going on, class is worthless for both the students and the teacher. I felt really bad and knew that I did a horrible job, but it was my first class I ever taught. The second class I had went a lot better. I had time to prepare and went over the material with the other teacher. I was on task and the children seemed engaged. My last class, I took a step backwards because I did not have that much time to prepare. I noticed the more you prepare the better you perform and it shows. So I taught 3 classes today and am relieved the first day is over.
side note- 3 children cried in my first class. Pretty funyy
After school Max and I went out with one of our other co-teachers Evan. We ate at this shady place downtown. We literally pointed to a phrase on the wall and they brought us a stew that consisted of some type of meat (very tender fell of the bone, so it could have been good), spices, and garnish. This soup was super spicy and gave us a cleansing. Once dinner was finshed, we walked around then ended up at Who's Bob bar where we met many foreginers and drank and had a good time. I am tired its 2am I need to go to bed.

Observation day 2 11/17
Once again, still trying to adjust to the sleep schedule. Waking up mad early, but it is okay because we had to be at school at 10:30. So waking up at 730 is really no big deal. Walked to school with Max in the beautiful windy and cold weather. This is very unusual for daegu this time of year. It is supposed to warm up a little later this wake. I hope so.
Got to school and observed classes all day today. From 1030 to 730. Had some breaks in between, but definitely a full and tiring day of just sitting and watching another teacher, teach. Tues and Thurs class are different children except for the preschoolers who come everyday. I tell you little koreans are so damn cute. However, you can only see there eyes and up because they are wearing these damn masks all the time. Let me point out how weird this culture is. They are so afraid off germs that the culture accepts wearing masks wherever you go, but in every single public or private bathroom you go to it is a bar of soap. Interesting, right? Each person is using the same bar of soap and yet they wear these masks. In addition, our school checks the temperature of each child using the same ear thermometer without changing the plastic. I think this is very ironic and they need to get over this little phobia.
That was a little vent, but needed to be said. The day was pretty boring observing and taking notes again. Even though I am probably not ready to teach, I want to because at least I will be doing something. Luckily, I found out that I will be teaching a few classes tomorrow while the person I have been observing, observes me. After school ended at 730 Max and I went to a Hof, which means live, which means draft beer. In short a bar. Had a couple beers then went to a Korean BBQ place and ate so much food for 7 dollars each, compared to the little ass American sandwich I had yesterday for 5 dollars. Another interesting thing about Korean culture, is that they bring out their food supper quick, but a sandwich, no matter how busy or empty the place takes 20 minutes.
Overall Korean food is pretty dank, very healthy, and excellent for the digestive system. However, with more American chains and popular foods coming into their culture such as bread I can see a trend of obesity starting to take place in children. I am going to observe this while I finish my stay here.
-Interesting fact- Daegu is considered to be the wealthiest city in South Korea, especially the town i am staying in. I am going to find out further if this is true.
Love,
Jeremy

Day 1 of observation (11/16)
Still getting used to the time difference and trying to get the sleep pattern down. Anyways, Max and I woke up pretty early and before we got picked up from school we went to Dunkin Doughnuts. Had a blueberry bagel if you were wondering. One of the teachers picked us up from our motel at 10:30 and showed us how to get to school. It is a pretty easy find because we do not have to turn once, however it is a good 30 minute walk and it is starting to get pretty cold. We will see what happens.
So we got to school and it is in a building on the 3rd floor. We are identified by a duck, i guess you could say our mascot. Pretty funny. Max and I met all the korean, Chinese, and english teachers. After that, we got our schedules and started observing. Each class is 40 minutes long with a 5 minute break unless you have off that period where you would get 40 minutes off. So I started with preschool, they are there from 9-2:30 i think. They learn chinese, korean, and english. I think it is crazy how long the children go to school for. It is not right and they should be playing not learning most of the day. After I observed some preschool classes I went to lunch with Max and another teacher. The next class I had were older kids and most of these children are very cute and seem to be a pleasure to be around. I did not really learn a lot today observing, just to play lots of games and try to engage everyone (pretty obvious). On a side note, none of the children could pronounce my name, so I told them to call me J teacher. They must say teacher it is a rule. Pretty funny. Also they were infatuated with my eyes because they are green and all of theirs are brown/black. Lastly, they all where masks and have to have their temperature taken because they are that terrified of swine flu. So it is hard enough to understand them without the mask because they are just learning enlgish, but add the mask and it gets that much tought, but you have to remember that this is a business and no one cares about your opinion. They just ant the children to 'pass' even if they failed. Its a money making business for people. The day ended at 8:15 after the 8th class. It was a long day and am ready to go to bed. Tomorrow have to be there even earlier to observe and a faculty meeting. Goodnight

Its Sunday
Wow, its only Sunday seems like we have been here for weeeks. As last night ended and Max and I discussed how most foreign people that have been here for months even years do not know much Korean. It is really disappointing that many foreigners have no respect fot the culture. I think Max and I are going to make a real effort to learn the language. Anyways, we walked out this morning from our love shack to a brisk cool air across the street to the grocery store. Saw some interesting things and stuff we would never buy. Then we went to a buddhist temple, very pretty. MAx is rushing me. Can't we to move in to our apartment.
First full day
So I do not have interent for a week and will be coming to PC room which is an internet cafe. So far it has been a smooth and interesting experience. In short the plane ride was 15 hours and the bus ride 5. MAx and I stayed up for over 24 hours so it seemned. Jimmy Carter was on our flight and I got to shake his hand. Yippee.
This morning Saturday the 14th Max and I got up around 10 and walked around. We stay in this love motel and you can leave it up to your imagination of the accomadations and what goes on there. So we woke up this mroning and wakled up the street and it was beautiful. Grassy Moutains surrond the city which with fresh food everywhere. WE called one of the teachers who met us at 12 to tell us the nitty gritty. We ate some awesome Korean fast food which consisted of something along the lines of potstickers, fried rice balls, and sushi. After lunch we walked around, viewed the apartment we were going to stay in and then to the subway downtown.
While we were downtown we bought cheap watches b/c we do not know what time it is and then got out feet eaten by fish. This was very intersteing and tickelish if you have sensitive feet. We got pretty tired so we came back to our love motel to take a nap for a few hours.
We told our new aquainted friends that we would meet them down at our motel steps at 750 so we had a few hours to spare to take a nap. I told max to wake me at 7 because he had an alarm. Next thing I know I hear a knock at my dooor and it is Max yelling at me to wake up. It is 745 and one of the teachers is already downstairs. If you know me I usuallty have to have alittle time to get ready but got ready in 10 minutes. WEnt to this awesome Korean BBq and ordered lots of food and drink for under 10 dolalrs. After a delish dinner we went downtown to an ice bar. I know most of you are thinkink that everything is covered an ice, but unfortunately it is not and it is only the mug that is ice. After you are finished drinking you throw it into a target and if you hit the bullseye you win something (aka free beer, food, etc) I swear I hit it but the buzzer didnt go off. WE got tired so we took a cab home and now hear. In additon, it is pretty damn cold here. Not really looking forward to a winter, hopefully it will warm up. WEll I am tired and laughing at all these Koreans playing PC games at this huge internet Cafe. Post coming soon as well as pics.

Before Korea
4 days until Korea! Sitting with my bro watching Curb thinking about how life is going to be across the globe. As I start to think my anxiety rises as well as my excitement for a new surrounding and outlook on life.
